Meltdowns and how they mould you as a man

Many a men have had meltdowns during their red pill journey. Honestly it’s ok to have a meltdown, it’s human nature and something that helps you change your identity. The red pill path is fraught with pitfalls and serious troughs that balance out the highs of the feelings of freedom and the joy of getting somewhere with women. Many men who get into learning game or following a red pill path drop off at the first dip. Their first meltdown is something their ego and identity can’t handle nor recover from. Therefore they regress back to what they know and felt comfort in, a world isolated from truth.

Why is a meltdown is good for you?

This is something that myself and Krauser have had a few discussions on over the past weeks. We’ve had friends, students, counterparts in the industry all experience meltdowns and then either drop out completely or become stronger and move forward.

The meltdowns themselves vary in size, oneitis for example triggers a huge meltdown that takes a lot of work to recover from, a superb streak of lays can trigger a minor mental breakdown whereby that period can seem like a fantasy era in your life as you struggle with a dry period. You look back upon as a mythical thing that seems hard to replicate and induce a meltdown on yourself. Other factors that lead to a meltdown can vary from work related issues, family related issues and illness. So why are these meltdowns good for you? Well the major benefit is that once you recover from them you change a certain part of yourself that needs fixing. You may not even realise it but it’s very unlikely that you’ll suffer a meltdown again based on the cause of previous ones, you’ll have developed the nous, heart and skills to overcome that imbalance and negate its effects in the future.

Identity, beliefs and behaviours

The first thing that a man modifies when he enters the red pill world is his behaviours. These are easily malleable and can be modified on a whim. The next part is a bit more tougher to change and takes time – beliefs. These are the set of beliefs that you hold and as we all know red pill acceptance is a long journey that passes through enlightenment and bitterness.

Identity <- beliefs <- behaviours

The final part is identity, this I believe is where meltdowns have their root. Your identity is the toughest part to change on your journey into become a player. Whenever your identity is threatened this generally leads to a meltdown. If you overcome that meltdown, you’ll come out stronger and having changed your identity to deal with the cause that created the meltdown. Many meltdowns later, you’ll have hammered at the rock at the centre of your core and ensured it has been made into an image that represents your beliefs and behaviours.

Is there a way to avoid meltdowns?

I personally do not believe so. I think most who enter the world of game start off by changing their behaviours followed by their beliefs and then finally their identity. This can be approached in the reverse order, changing your identity, beliefs and then your behaviours will naturally follow course. In both circumstances your identity needs an earthquake to shake it up and in a lot of cases destroy it so it can built up from the ruins as a stronger force.

Or in simple terms as Nick likes to put it – “Imagine a meltdown is like a bankruptcy, it allows you start all over again but you’ve learnt the mistakes”.

Meltdowns are a natural part of your journey, I’m not saying you should embrace them but that when you overcome them that you’ll have built a bigger tower, one that will be more difficult to break down.
